This is the terrifying moment a massive tornado rips through farmland leaving livestock dead in its wake as it carved out a huge trail of destruction.

The powerful twister hit a state farm in the Tobolsky settlement in Svetlinsky District, Orenburg Oblast, southern Russia, on 8th May, dropping debris and hailstones the size of hen's eggs in its path.

The tornado reportedly tore up cowsheds killing the animals and ripped the roofs off houses.

Local authorities are said to calculating the exact extent of the damages it caused.
