A 29-year-old man drowned a bizarre accident after getting stuck upside down in a drain trying to fish out his dropped headphones and jewellery.
The victim, not been named by police in Braunschweig, central Germany, had slipped and become wedged halfway down the drain with his head covered by water on 3rd May.
An astonished passing bus driver spotted his legs sticking out of the drain and called police.
