This footage shows a wild boar that was stuck in some guardrails in China, with the police decided to shoot it rather than have to deal with freeing it and release it back into the wild.
The incident took place near Langxi Road, in Hefei, Anhui Province, in China, on 28th April.
The footage shows the boar stuck between the railings by a roadside, still alive but apparently exhausted after desperately trying to free itself to no avail.
Local media reports said that the animal was foaming at the mouth and the police later shot it before disposing of its carcass.
It is currently unclear where the boar came from and how it became trapped in the guardrails.
