A glamorous real estate agent was bitten by a rattlesnake while filming a video at a new condominium development.

The incident happened in the city of Anapolis, located in the state of Goias, Brazil on 30th April.

Sany Galdino, who works for a local real estate company, was recording video content alone near the Presidente petrol station on the edge of the BR-060 highway when she was struck by the venomous snake.

She had returned to the site alone to take additional shots and was distracted by her mobile phone when the rattlesnake bit her.

Sany recalled: "I recorded a video and went towards the car looking at my cell phone and then it bit me.

"I screamed and kicked it aside. When I looked and saw the size of the snake, I couldn’t believe it."

Sany was rushed to the nearest emergency unit where she was given anti-venom treatment.

She later posted on social media, calling the event a "signal to value life" and thanked her friends, family, and medical staff for their support.
