A mum who told police her 15-day-old daughter had been kidnapped from the family home has confessed to killing her and hiding her body in a cupboard.
The disappearance of baby Ana Beatriz sparked a huge search after her 22-year-old mother Eduarda Silva de Oliveira reported her missing in Novo Lino, in the state of Alagoas, Brazil.
Justice officials triggered an amber alert on all social media on 15th April and dozens of police and hundreds of members of the public took part in a painstaking search.
Silva de Oliveira first told police newborn Ana had been snatched from her on a bus but changed her story when the coach CCTV showed she was lying.

Then she claimed men in a black car had grabbed Ana as she walked back from her mother-in-law's home, but neighbours told police it never happened.
Finally she claimed hooded thugs broke into her home, raped her and stole baby Ana but home security video showed that was not true either.
When police identified her as a prime suspect and arrested her, Silva de Oliveira confessed to the killing and led police to her decomposing body in a wooden cabinet.
Officers found Ana stuffed in a plastic bag and put in a pot hidden behind bottles of bleach and soap.

Silva de Oliveira fainted and was rushed to hospital where a furious mob gathered outside and pelted her ambulance with rocks when it left to take her to a police station.
Police chief Captain Freitas said: "The exit from the hospital was very chaotic and the ambulance was stoned, but no one was hit."
Investigator Igor Diego explained: "We went to every length possible to check the information given by her.
"But whenever it didn't check out, she simply invented a new version."

Agonisingly Ana's dad Jaelson da Silva Souza, who was working in Sao Paulo when Ana was born, never saw his newborn daughter except in heartbreaking photos taken after her birth.
Her mother smothered her with a pillow after being unable to breastfeed her and claimed she was suffering from post-natal depression.
But investigator Diego said: "We are cautious and we continue to investigate because she has already lied to us several times."
