These are the hard-to-watch last moments alive of a gyrocopter pilot and his passenger recorded and posted just seconds before they crashed and died.
Instructor Flavius Neves, 65, and his student, 42-year-old Geraldo Francisco da Silva, filmed themselves as they soared over a beach in Tibau, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, on 21st April.
In the student's footage, Neves is recorded saying how he plans to post the clips on TikTok as they fly a parallel course along the sandy beach.
But watchers have noticed how at times the instructor takes both hands off the control stick as he holds his phone on a selfie stick in his right hand and gives a thumbs up with his left.
Moments later the micro-copter began spinning uncontrollably and rapidly losing height with smoke billowing from the engine.
Within seconds it crashed heavily near dunes at Praia de Areias Alvas killing both men instantly with the gyrocopter reduced to a pile of twisted scrap metal.
Neves was known as a well respected and experienced ultralight instructor.
He was teaching his student how to perform emergency landings with the engine turned off when they fell out of the sky.
Police and air safety officials from the National Civil Aviation Agency and the Centre for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents are investigating the crash.
