This is the cop that moment a 191mph supercar is put through its paces at a racetrack before it joins the police force in Japan.
The coveted Honda NSX was donated to police chiefs in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, by a wealthy motor racing fan who had the track car in his personal collection.
Multimillionaire owner Toshiya Kobayashi, who made his fortune in real estate, not only handed over the JPY-25 million (GBP-135,000) car but paid to make it street legal.
On the track the three-litre V8 sports car can hit 60mph from a standing start in just 2.9 seconds and was originally designed as a Ferrari-beater.
One formerly owned by F1 racing legend Ayrton Senna went under the hammer for an astonishing GBP 500,000.

The car, in its new police livery, was unveiled on 21st April at the Suzaka Circuit race track as it roared down the home straight at high speed.
During the test run by a member of the highway patrol unit, the car exceeded 100 kph, the top speed on Japan's fastest expressways.
But Kobayashi, 43, joked: "I suppose they were holding back a bit on the speed.

"It looks even cooler than I imagined, and gets me excited."
The supercar is expected to be used for promotional displays as even though it is fast enough to catch any crook, officers might struggle to fit them in its spartan two-seater cockpit.
Proud Kobayashi explained: "I hope it will be used in enlightenment activities so that children will be attracted to the police."
