A family gang who staged a series of movie-style road heists after being inspired by YouTube videos have been seized by police after flaunting their wealth.
The father and sons team used a series of stunt vans with flip-out hinged windscreens to hijack lorries while they were still moving.
A lorry security-cam video of one heist shows how after removing a plastic windscreen one son would snare the lorry with a tyre on a rope while it was doing 100kph.
Then, as the rope drew the vehicles closer together the second son would climb out to pop the trailer's locks and plunder the cargo without the trucker even realising he had been robbed.
Then back home in Tayshet in southern Russia's Siberia region, the family matriarch would fence the hauls, often worth tens of thousands of pounds, say police.
The family were caught, though, when local police noticed that the family, who did not have a single job between them, were suddenly loaded, local media reported on 21st April.

With the profits from the raid they went on massive designer shopping sprees and turned their modest home into a mini palace with a fleet of new cars and quad bikes parked outside.
A police video of a dawn raid on the family home shows bag after bag of jewellery, electronic gadgets and designer clothes being removed by police.
One clip shows officers counting fistfuls of RUB-1,000 notes and piles of golden coins.

Now the 59-year-old father, two sons aged 38 and 32 and their mother are facing trial for organised theft at Nizhneingashsky District Court over their three-year crime spree.
A police spokesperson from the Krasnoyarsk Ministry of Internal Affairs said: "In April 2023, the group broke into the trailer of a Scania lorry and stole clothing worth RUB 640,000 [GBP 5,885].
"Three months later, in the Nazarovsky District, they used the same method to steal alcohol worth RUB 92,000 [GBP 850].

The whole family, not named by Russian prosecutors, is being held in pre-trial detention and have denied all the charges.
