This footage shows a pedestrian nearly being hit by a car while crossing a road on a zebra crossing after the vehicle was rear-ended by a speeding motorist.
The incident took place in Belgorod, in Russia, on Wednesday, 23rd April.
CCTV footage of the scene shows pedestrians waiting patiently for traffic to pass, despite them having the right of way over vehicles when using zebra crossings, according to Russian law.
There appears to be a lull in the traffic and one man begins crossing the road.
But all of a sudden, some vehicles appear out of nowhere and speeding towards him, with one car breaking to allow him to pass.
But the car behind the vehicle does not stop in time and rear-ends it, causing the pedestrian to jump out of the way and flee back to the side of the road.
Bizarrely, two motorists get out of the car that rear-ended the other vehicle and ran after the pedestrian as the footage ends.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the incident and if the police are investigating the crash.
