A man found asleep in his bed beside the dug-up skeletal remains of his dad and his grandfather has been seized by police.
The gruesome discovery was made in Swalala, Mpumalanga province, South Africa, on 28th April after a woman reported that two graves had been robbed in a nearby cemetery.
The corpses, buried side-by-side, were the suspect’s father and grandfather, who were both buried in 2010.

When police went to the to the 29-year-old suspect's home they were horrified to find him in bed sleeping beside bones believed to have come from both graves.
Brigadier Donald Mdhluli of the South African Police Service said the bones were confiscated as evidence.

The suspect, whose name was not revealed, was arrested and charged with violating graves.
He was expected to appear at Masoyi Magistrate’s Court on 30th April.
The motive behind the grave robbing is unknown but the police investigation continues.
