A police SUV collided with a lorry after attempting a sudden U-turn on a busy road.

The incident occurred in the Kumtorkalinsky District, in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia, on Wednesday, 14th May.

Dashcam footage from the scene shows the police vehicle pulling out abruptly from the roadside into the path of the oncoming KamAZ lorry, which was travelling in the same direction.

The collision resulted in significant damage to the police SUV, while the KamAZ sustained minor damage.

No injuries were reported, and local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
