A dash cam captured the moment two motorcyclists participating in a rally collided on a highway and slammed into the back of a van as the skidded along the road.

The incident occurred during a group ride when the two riders came into contact, causing both to lose control and crash onto the M1 highway in the Moscow region, Russia, on Tuesday, 6th May.

The video shows the motorcyclists riding closely together before the collision.

Eyewitnesses reported that emergency services arrived promptly at the scene.

The current health condition of the riders has not been disclosed at the time of writing.
