The mother of a missing kickboxing star has told how her daughter's mobile phone has received a call from a UK number 14 months after she disappeared.
Fighter Anna Tsomartova, 22, vanished after leaving a training session in Rostov, southern Russia, in February last year (2024).
Now her anxious mother Diana has told how a mysterious call from a UK-registered mobile was made to her daughter's phone on 12th April.

The call, reports a social media channel dedicated to finding Anna, came in the early hours of the morning while her parents were sleeping.
When they spotted the call, they tried to ring back but have never been able to get a response.
Now they have appealed to anyone following the search for Anna to come forward if the number means anything to them.

They wrote: "We did not have time to answer, and it is not possible to call this number.
"Maybe one of our subscribers has the opportunity to find out who owns this number."
The baffling development comes after Anna was apparently photographed at a subway station in Dubai.

Eight months ago (Aug 2024) she was seen checking a station map with her hair in her distinctive waist-length plaited ponytail and overheard speaking Russian.
Anna has since been put on an Interpol world-wide wanted list in a bid to find out what had happened to her.
