A man accused of stabbing his pregnant wife to death in a frenzied attack was seized by police with the knife he used still in his hand.
Victim Bruna Cristina Ferreira Crivelari, 36, was found with seven stab wounds to her chest at the family home in Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil on 16th April.
Friends called police after they went to check on three months pregnant Bruna when she did not answer her phone.

Relatives discovered her body after persuading the landlord to saw through a window security grille to they could get in.
Police found her husband Maicon Douglas Lopes de Souza, 29, in the apartment still clutching the murder weapon.
Officers arrested Lopes de Souza who is in custody awaiting trial on charges of murder and concealing a corpse.
Although Bruna had a day job in an optician's surgery she had built up a social media following of tens of thousands with her posts on married life.

According to the officers, the man, who works as a motorcycle app delivery driver, was angry that his wife earned more than he did and was covering the household expenses.
Lopes de Souza confessed to killing his wife during an argument which is believed to have started over financial issues.
The couple had been together for a year and tied the knot in January this year.
The investigation is ongoing.
