This footage reportedly shows the moment a Russian D-30 howitzer strikes a Ukrainian stronghold near Pokrovsk.
The attack took place in eastern Ukraine on 22nd October.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, artillery units from the ‘Centre’ group of forces targeted Ukrainian troops, artillery, and equipment near the Ukrainian city.
During the mission, the Russian MoD said that a crew of a 122mm D-30 howitzer from the 60th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Battalion of the 51st Combined Arms Army hit a Ukrainian stronghold.
The video shows Russian soldiers loading the weapon with ordnance and firing.
The artillery crew delivered what was described as an effective strike on the Ukrainian positions, the ministry said.
The ministry added that the hit enabled Russian assault groups to advance rapidly and capture the stronghold.
