This is the moment a security guard opens fire at point-blank range on three armed men who tried to storm an industrial warehouse.

The attack happened in the Camara district of Aquiraz, in north-eastern Brazil, on Monday night, 15th September.

Security footage from several angles captures the entire sequence.

One camera shows the men running into the courtyard and pointing their guns at the guardhouse.

One of them then climbs a spiral staircase and kicks at the security booth door.

From a window, the guard shoots him and he falls backwards down the stairs to the ground below.

Another angle shows the courtyard again as one suspect runs off into the distance and another limps away.

A short time later the man who fell from the staircase is seen trying to follow them, repeatedly collapsing and struggling to his feet before falling again.

Another camera outside the courtyard shows the wounded man who first limped away collapsing lifeless on the ground.

The second injured suspect then approaches and finds his fallen accomplice.

He collapses beside him before searching for and picking up a gun lying by a wall that he points at his own head and shoots.

Police confirmed they seized two pistols and a revolver from the suspects.

Investigators from the Civil Police in Aquiraz are analysing the footage and searching for the third man.
