A wealthy businessman has been killed after picking up a brand new Porsche Cayman and crashing it after leaving the showroom.
The accident happened on BR-386 in Carazinho, a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, on Thursday, 4th September, according to the Federal Highway Police.

The victim, Jonas Stefanello, 45, had collected the car at noon and was involved in the fatal accident around 2:30pm. He had acquired the vehicle for commercial use by the sports company he owned.

The company released a statement mourning his death, saying he was known for his charisma and cheerful nature.
He had celebrated his 45th birthday two days before the accident.
He is survived by his wife, his nine-year-old daughter Brenda, and siblings Sarah and Mateus.
His wake and burial took place on Friday, 6th September, in his hometown of Ibiruba.
The accident is under investigation.
