This is the all gun wrong moment a robbery suspect is surrounded by two dozen armed-to-the-teeth cops after a high-speed car chase.

The high-octane footage was filmed on Baden Powell Drive, opposite Sunrise Beach, in Muizenberg, in the suburbs of Cape Town, on Monday, 7th July, after the police rammed the suspect's getaway car in a road block.

As he tries to flee with his engine pouring smoke, officers open fire and the VW Polo comes to a halt outside an apartment block.

Within moments, heavily armed police surround the vehicle, and while the terrified suspect raises his arms in surrender, one officer fires into the car shattering the window,

As they tear the door open, the unnamed suspect is dragged out into the road, searched and handcuffed before the footage filmed from a balcony ends.
