A shopper was left stunned when the raw eggs he had bought suddenly hatched during a heatwave.
The man, from Beijing, the capital of China, revealed that he had bought some eggs and left them in his home for a few days, but when he was ready to eat them, he realised that some had hatched.
He joked that he appears to have inadvertently become a "chicken farmer", with the video showing the box of eggs, with some shells broken, as chicks are heard chirping in the background.
The camera then pans left and shows at least eight chicks in a box.
The man explained that he had bought the eggs from a merchant, who had advertised them as being natural, 18-day-old live eggs. It is unclear if the merchant knew his eggs had been fertilised.
But due to the heat, with Beijing hitting over 30 degrees Celsius on a regular basis this month, some of the eggs hatched, as if they had been incubated by a brooding hen.

Netizens joked that instead of having fried eggs, the man would have to have a plate of chicken instead.
But the man reportedly brought the chicks back to the merchant.
Chicken eggs only hatch chicks if the eggs have been fertilised by a cockerel.
