A brother and sister were killed in a horrific car crash while they were driving to their mother's wake when they were hit by a lorry carrying a cargo of limestone.
The deadly smash took place while the siblings were travelling from the state of Sao Paulo to their mother's wake in Pedras de Maria da Cruz, in Minas Gerais, in Brazil, on Tuesday, 10th June.
Celma Lopes dos Reis and her brother Isac Lopes dos Reis, both 39, died following a head-on collision with the lorry, which was carrying out road maintenance work in the area.
Celma was intubated at the scene and rushed to hospital, but she died, while Isac required surgery but also passed away.

Local media reports said that the brother and sister had been travelling to their mother's wake.
Celma was buried in the Barra do Buriti cemetery, in Pedras de Maria da Cruz, on Wednesday, 11th June, and Isac was set to be buried on Thursday, 12th June.
