Football legend Neymar has been torn off a strip by fans after sharing pics of his bizarre pink party outfit online that cost as much as a family car.

The Brazilian Santos star got togged up in the furry kit assembled from some of the most exclusive brands on the planet.

His eye-popping rainbow-hued Louis Vuitton faux fur coat was set off with a dayglo pink shirt by Balenciaga and Monogram LV skate pants trousers.

The 33-year-old footy icon completed the look with a pair of GBP 1,300 Louis Vuitton Maxi trainers and pink trendy Off-White Catalina sunglasses.

Experts say that all together, his outfit was worth more than GBP 25,000, about the same as a new MINI Cooper, local media reported on 15th June.

But Neymar was far from in the pink when he was mocked mercilessly by social media users.

One said: "Right, he was dressed in candy floss."

And another laughed: "Football... It's priceless!"

Neymar donned the outfit for a tropical-themed party at his beachside mansion in Mangaratiba, eastern Brazil, to celebrate the Festa Junina in honour of John the Baptist.
