This is the hair-raising moment a mum makes her young son sit for selfies on the edge of a sheer drop from a 7,000ft mountain while other tourists watch on in horror.
Terrifying video footage of the stunt was recorded on top of stunning but deadly Mount Hushuan, notorious as China's most dangerous mountain.
The mountain, with its dizzying cliffside staircases and barely passable hiking routes, is where a hundred visitors a year are said to die.
The shocking clip, recorded on 19th May, shows a mum sitting on a rock overhanging a sheer drop into a ravine as a photographer picks up her son and plonks him in her lap.
The toddler is then urged to shuffle back between her legs to face the snapper.
As the cameraman urges him on, the anxious-looking youngster perches uncomfortably on the sheer rock with no safety harness between him and the deadly drop.
First the photographer directs the mum and her son to perform an uneasy-looking double thumbs up.
With her arms spread wide the mother would not be able to grab her son if he started to slip.

In the background, other tourists can be heard protesting and urging the mum to come down.
But the photographer urges the mum and son to point away into the distance as the clip comes to a close.
When the footage emerged on social media horrified managers at the Culture and Tourism Bureau of nearby Weinan City banned the photographer from the peak.
They said in a statement: "The photographer has been ordered to sop business immediately.
"Thankfully the majority of tourists pay attention to the safety of themselves and their families when visiting."
