A teenage model drowned in the sea shortly after posing for graduation pictures on a beach.
Nicolas Araujo Camassola, 17, died at Pontal de Maceio beach in the city of Fortim, in the state of Ceara, Brazil, on 3rd June.
He had travelled to the location to take part in a photo session wearing a graduation cap and gown.

Afterwards, the young man decided to go into the sea with some friends to take a bath.
About 15 minutes later, his friends realised he disappeared from view and they managed to pull him out of the water and began giving him first aid.
Rescuers were called to the scene and they spent an hour attempting to revive him, but ultimately declared him dead.
Nicolas, who worked as a photographic and runway model, lived in the city of Russas and was a student at the Jeova Costa Lima State Vocational School.

Pride Casting, the modelling agency that managed Nicolas’s career, spoke out about the incident, saying: "He was a promising young man, full of dreams and light.
"Even in his brief time with us, he left a lasting impression of warmth, humility, and dedication."
The school also expressed deep sorrow over the young man’s death, stating: "We deeply mourn the loss of our beloved student Nicolas Camassola.

"His presence among us will be missed, and the memories will always remain.
"In this time of grief, we stand in solidarity with his friends and classmates."
The Civil Police of Ceara is investigating the circumstances of the drowning.
