This is the revolting moment a mum finds a dead rodent sealed into her seven-week-old baby's nappy after an early morning change.
Shocked Mariana Sobral, from Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, had swapped her son's nappy during a bleary-eyed 3:30 am change and did not notice a strange lump in the new one.
But when she changed it again four hours later, she felt a bizarre bulge in the nappy's padding.

When she peeled away the covering, she told local media that she was horrified to find a dead rodent, which appears to be either a juvenile rat or a mouse, sealed inside.
Mariana believes it had crawled into the padding during the manufacturing process but was then crushed and sealed inside on the production line.
A speck of what appears to be rodent blood can be seen on one of the wings of the diaper.

Now, after being given the runaround by the makers, not named in local media, she took to social media on 2nd June and reported them to Brazil's consumer police.
Mariana said: "The shock came the next morning around 7:30 am when I went to change the nappy and I realised there was a foreign body in it.
"In horror, I thought in that moment I had to clean my baby and then call the maker's customer service.

"I called them and at no time was the response concern for my son.
"All they were worried about was that this might be a prank."
Medics have told Mariana to monitor her son closely for signs of rodent-borne infections like leptospirosis, which causes fever and vomiting.
The police are investigating Mariana's claims.
