This is the what-the-buck moment a delivery robot goes totally bronco to unseat a drunk who had tried to hitch a ride on it.

The bizarre encounter was caught on camera in the Russian capital Moscow after a man with a beer bottle in his hand plonked himself down on the bot.

Footage shared on local social media platform VKontakte on 2nd June shows the boozer perched on the courier's payload box with his legs stretched out.

But within seconds the normally passive bot apparently detects the intruder and a self protection programme kicks in.

As the drinker struggles to stay on board, the bot makes a series of erratic leaps and movements like a rodeo bucking bronco.

Finally the unauthorised passenger is bucked off as he is dumped on his backside on the pavement.
