A biker was hurled into the air in a shocking collision with a car caught on a dashboard camera.

The drama unfolded in the Russian capital city of Moscow as a vehicle attempted to pull out from Dmitrievsky Street on Monday, 26th May.

The footage shows the car edging out to join the lane just as the motorcycle comes speeding from the left.

The biker smashes into the vehicle and is launched high into the air, twisting head over heels before hitting the ground.

The man is then seen climbing out of the car and clutching his head in shock at what has just happened.

The motorist filming the incident also gets out and is seen calling for help on his phone.

The crash reportedly brought traffic to a standstill on the busy street in the capital.

There were no immediate official details on the condition of the biker.
