A gunman who was filmed opening fire in a crowded children's skate park was shouting "Allahu Akbar" right before he started shooting, it has emerged.
The incident happened in the Floridsdorf district, a city suburb of Vienna, Austria's capital, around 9:00pm on Friday, 30th May.
Terrified families scattered as at least two men chased another through the play area, one of them firing a pistol into the air.
A total of seven shots were fired according to police, with one witness capturing the moment on their phone.

The attacker could reportedly be heard repeatedly yelling "Allahu Akbar" as he brandished the weapon.
Investigators later confirmed it was a blank-firing gun, but are probing whether it may have been modified.
Police were flooded with emergency calls and armed officers from the elite WEGA units were deployed.
But by the time they arrived, the suspects had already vanished.
The witness who captured the incident said: "I was at home when I suddenly heard loud screams and gunshots outside my window near Bodenstedtgasse."

He added: "I immediately grabbed my phone and started recording."
An urgent manhunt is now underway, and investigators from the Vienna State Criminal Police Office are leading the case.
Austriaβs counter-terrorism agency LSE is also involved in case the outburst was religiously or politically motivated.
Patrols have been stepped up in Floridsdorf with extra officers assigned over the weekend.
