A cheeky man wheeled his electric scooter into a hospital waiting room and plugged it into a wall socket to charge it, shocked staff have revealed.
The bizarre pit stop happened at the A&E department of University Hospital G. Martino in the city of Messina on the Italian island of Sicily on 29th May.
Photos of the scooter parked neatly next to the waiting chairs surfaced online, causing a stir after they were posted by the hospital’s own Facebook page.

The man, who has not been identified, left his bike to charge in the hospital as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
There were no signs that the man was a patient himself, and hospital staff believe he simply wanted to make use of the power supply.
A cleaning trolley was pictured nearby, adding to the surreal image of a scooter receiving emergency 'treatment' among real patients.
Hospital staff removed the vehicle and said they are currently working to find the owner, who will be reported to the police.
They warned that such behaviour could interfere with emergency services and called for greater civic responsibility.
Hospital General Director Giorgio Giulio Santonocito said: "This act is a reflection of profound cultural decay, which cannot be ignored.
"Such behaviour is a sign of incivility and must not go unnoticed.
"For this reason, we will take every necessary action to combat such actions, which not only demonstrate a complete lack of care for public property, but also show disrespect towards the individuals, staff and patients who come to the hospital in need of medical care."
