A retired mine worker who celebrated his 118th birthday this month and claims to be the world's oldest man says regular prayer was the secret to a long life.

Levino da Costa de Jesus marked the milestone surrounded by family and friends at a party in the city of Para de Minas, in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, on 6th May.
Footage from the party shows the sprightly pensioner enjoying the festivities as he is serenaded by a group of young well-wishers.
Levino, who has never smoked or drunk alcohol, said his secret to a long life was "faith in God, doing good, and staying calm."
He also said a healthy old age depends on the choices people make earlier in life.
His daily routine includes attending church services, reading the Bible, and taking Pilates classes at the nursing home where he currently lives.
Staff say he remains sharp and is full of stories from a bygone era.
His identity documents confirm his birthdate as 6th May 1907, though he has not yet been recognised by Guinness World Records.

Doctors who examined him said his blood pressure, heart and respiratory rates were those of someone decades younger.
The devout Catholic still insists on praying before meals and told visitors: "Evil is no good, only good."
His story went viral in Brazil after the video of his birthday was posted on social media.
