This is the moment a repairman is left dangling from an air conditioning unit after being electrocuted as his son who is filming carries on because he thought his father was joking as he violently shook on the ladder.
The boy was confused because he had not realised that when electrocuted, muscles can tighten and in this case the man's hand clamped onto the air conditioning unit making it impossible for him to fall as the current passed through his body.
The unfortunate accident left the electrician on a metal ladder dangling from the device with his hand gripping tightly under the electricity from the air conditioning unit outside the store in Kyrgyzstan, possibly in the Jalal-Abad region, around 23rd May.
The man had been called in to repair the air conditioning unit and was captured on camera by someone filming below, for some reason, who does not intervene and continues filming as his hand grips the air-conditioner, and he is seen visibly shaking.
Incredibly, despite then crashing unconscious to the ground, he survived and is reportedly recovering.
The video caused a wave of outrage when it was posted online with people criticising the fact that the person involved had done nothing to help the injured man.
However, it turned out that the person filming was the electrician's son, who carried on filming because he thought his father was joking and only realised when he fell from a ladder that he was deadly serious.
The electrician himself has been criticised for a lack of proper safety measures, including using a metal ladder without gloves and shoes that might have insulated him from the accident.
