This is the horrifying moment a man who begins to faint while walking collapses on the street under the wheels of a passing bus and is fatally run over.

The incident occurred in Kucukcekmece, a district on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey on 21st May.

The victim, an Azerbaijani national whose name was not revealed, was walking along the pavement when he suddenly clutched his head and fell onto the road.

A bus was passing at that moment, and its rear wheel ran over the man.

The driver, identified as R.S., stopped the vehicle after being alerted by bystanders.

Emergency services arrived promptly, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The bus driver was taken into custody for questioning by the police.

The incident was captured on a nearby security camera, showing the man collapsing and the bus passing over him.

Local shopkeeper Mahmut Boz commented: "I think the man's blood pressure dropped. He suddenly fell and ended up under the bus. We saw it afterwards; he probably died instantly."

The victim's body was transported to the Forensic Medicine Institute following the completion of on-site investigations.
