A massive bell hailed as the largest on Earth has arrived at a holy pilgrimage site in Brazil after being shipped from Europe.
The Vox Patris, or Voice of God, bell is more than 13 feet tall and is so loud it can be heard more than six miles away.
The bell, which weighs in at 55 tonnes, arrived by container ship in Santos, Sao Paulo state, on 17th May.

It is set to be hoisted into a specially built tower at the Divino Pai Eterno shrine in Trindade, Goias state, one of the most important Catholic pilgrimage sites in Brazil.
Its origins go back to 1840 when a farmer discovered a medallion with the image of the Holy Trinity crowning the Virgin Mary.
The discovery inspired widespread devotion, and by 1848, the first chapel was built on the site, which has since grown into a national sanctuary attracting millions of visitors each year.

Experts say the new bell, cast by the 200-year-old Jan Felczynski foundry in Krakow, Poland, rings out at 120 decibels, louder than standing next to a jet engine.
Russia's 201-tonne Tsar Bell in the Kremlin is larger than the new bell but is not ranked as a working bell because a huge chunk broke off in a fire in 1767 before it was ever rung.
