A 14-year-old schoolgirl who beat a seven-year-old girl to death with a hammer has told police how she was inspired by one of the world's worst serial killers.
The teen, not named by police in Berdyansk, in Russian-occupied Ukraine, was arrested after details of the gruesome killing on 16th May emerged on social media.
In a shocking videoed confession the killer admits the brutal slaying in graphic detail and tells police she had other victims.

She claims to have been inspired by Russia's 'Chessboard Killer' Alexander Pichushkin who was jailed for life after admitting 60 murders.
In the grim clip, which emerged on the Telegram social media platform, the teen reportedly tells how she saw her victim playing in the street and lured her to a forest where she beat her to death.
She reportedly said in a chilling matter-of-fact voice: "I took the hammer in a small bag.
"I walked with her to a clearing, I'd found the place in advance but she was already beginning to turn around.
"So I started pounding her. I hit her many times."
Police found the victim's body with horrific head injuries in a woodland clearing exactly where her self-confessed killer says she executed her.
Terrifyingly she claims to have killed and hidden other victims who police are now searching for.

Regional police chief Kristina Volkova from the Investigative Committee of Russia confirmed: "According to the investigation, on 16th May in the evening she met a child on the street and persuaded her to walk with her towards the forest belt.
"During the walk the suspect inflicted at least three blows with a hammer on the head.
"The child died at the scene."
In a macabre twist police found the planning for the killing written up in graphic detail in the teen's diary, where she also revealed her hero worship of serial killer Pichushkin.
At his 2007 trial the sick slayer boasted of murdering 60 victims, mostly children and women, during his notorious slaughter spree from 1992 to 2006.
Pichushkin, now serving life behind bars, told judges his target was 64 victims, the number of squares on a chessboard and is ranked the world's 18th most prolific serial killer.
The teen killer he inspired is being held in psychiatric detention and is being interviewed by an expert in psychiatric forensics.
The investigation continues.
