This is the rocks-in-his-head moment a teen TikToker lands himself with a GBP 172,000 fine after hurling a massive boulder down a canyon from a 6,000-foot-high hiking trail.

This image is a screen grab of the video supplied titled NewsX-SiteThro-01.mp4: A young man throws a rock down a ravine in the Picos de Europa National Park in northern Spain, undated. Footage was posted on TikTok on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
The footage, recorded in northern Spain's rugged Ruta del Cares trail, shows the teen lifting a rock so heavy he can barely pick it up.
Then he staggers to the edge of the ancient path and sends it crashing into the river canyon running through the Cantabrian Mountains.

As the camera is held over the edge the rock is seen hurtling down into the undergrowth with the teen apparently oblivious to other walkers, climbers or wildlife that could be below.
The footage emerged after it was posted on the TikTok account '@piedrass.tirar' on 6th May for the teen's 132,000 followers.
The Spanish-language account has the slogan 'No Piedras el Tiempo', or 'Don't Throw Rocks at Time', and every post bafflingly shows the teen hurling rocks from bridges or cliff edges.
But the latest post is set to land the bizarre prankster with a huge fine.
The pathway is the highlight of the Picos de Europa National Park, one of Spain's most popular attractions with more than 300,000 visitors a year.
Regional authorities have confirmed they are investigating the footage and warn that environmental laws protecting Spain's national parks carry hefty penalties.
Offenders can be fined up to EUR 200,000 (GBP 171,500) for behaviour posing a serious risk to public safety or the environment.
