A kidnapped woman who claims she had been imprisoned by her abusive partner under armed guard for two years has made an online plea for help to return home saying he is preventing her from leaving his country.

Priscila Sand, a 27-year-old woman from Campana, Argentina, met her partner Salvador Zubiran Rabay at a restaurant in Mexico City, Mexico's capital, around two years ago.

The two immediately hit it off but the relationship soon turned into a nightmare when Rabay learnt that she wanted to travel back home to Argentina.

In a video that surfaced online in early April, Priscila said she had been held captive for two years by armed men arranged by her partner who refused to let her leave.

Priscila recounted: "I told his mother that I wanted to go back to my country, and he found out. He took my phone, dragged me by the hair and slammed me against a wall."

From then on, a long period of violence and confinement began.

She had a child with him, and the situation became even more extreme. According to her, her partner controlled her every move, kept her completely isolated from her family, checked her phone every time he returned from work, and even forbade her from taking the baby to the doctor unless he was present.

She said: "I couldn’t work. I was always at home. There was always a bodyguard.

"If I wanted to go for a walk, I had to ask permission, and if he allowed it, someone would follow me.

"If I wanted a haircut, someone would come to the house. The same for getting my nails done.

"And at weekends we would go to the shopping centre, but always with him.

"If I needed the toilet, two security guards would accompany me and wait outside."

She added: "I was trapped. The house was full of cameras, sensors, microphones. I couldn’t move without him finding out."

In fact, she only communicated with her twin sister secretly in the bathroom.

It was through her that, in April this year, she managed to start planning her escape.

Her sister got in touch with a trusted acquaintance in Mexico and, with her help, Priscila identified the exact moment to flee.

She spent days studying the guards’ routines, waited for a lapse in their vigilance, and ran off with her son and a small bag, before catching a taxi.

She took refuge in a safe house offered by someone close to her, and that same day she filed a report with the Anti-Kidnapping Prosecutor’s Office in Mexico City.

The final push to flee, she said, was when her husband started building a panic room in the house.

She said: "He was going to lock me in there. There was no doubt left, I had to escape."

According to her testimony, Rabay not only subjected her to physical and psychological abuse but also drugged her.

She said: "He forced me to take prescription medication."

Priscila says she has evidence of all the abuse she suffered: physical, coercive, and sexual.

She presented it to the authorities along with her report.

However, the case has not progressed as she had hoped.

Initially, it was classified as kidnapping, but soon after it was transferred to the Gender Violence Prosecutor’s Office, where so far there has been little progress.

Meanwhile, her former partner reported her for domestic violence. That led to the issuance of an Amber Alert for her son, which prevents her from leaving the country unless a judge grants permission.

She has already sought assistance from the Argentine Embassy.

The young woman describes the accused as a powerful figure in the region, who boasts about moving cash through his business, carrying weapons without a permit, and having certain legal protections.

She claimed: "He says he’s bought judges, police officers, public prosecutors. I've seen him manipulate complaints, fabricate evidence, and use his contacts to pursue other women."

Priscila is now desperately pleading for help to return to her country.

She said: "I live in terror. I fear for my life and for my son's."

She added that she also fears for her family in Argentina and has asked for her case to go viral so that the authorities can help her.
