This is the miracle moment a medic came face to face with the power of nature when a baby boy was born with his mum's contraceptive coil stuck to his back.
Astonishing images of the newborn went vital after they were shared online by the doctor who delivered him in the Brazilian capital Brasilia on 4th May.

One photo shows baby Bernardo with the T-shaped IUD running along his spine just above his bottom.
Dr Rafaela Frota, the obstetrician who performed the delivery, said: "He debuted in this big world with his mother’s IUD stuck in his butt."
Amazingly the device had not embedded itself in the tot's skin but had stuck to a white wax-like covering that protects a baby's skin in the womb.
The doctor added: "The IUD is a very safe method, but like any other, it also has a failure rate, even if it is low."
Stunned mum Amanda Gomes, 31, said that she had always closely monitored the insertion and maintenance of her IUD, which is considered to be 99 per cent effective.
After she got pregnant, her obstetrician confirmed the IUD had moved and wound up inside her uterus.
Her doctor decided to leave it in but made sure to keep it closely monitored during the pregnancy.
Amanda added: "[During the birth], we saw it [the IUD] immediately. The doctor brought Bernardo close to me and his dad captured the moment.
"We, along with the entire medical team, burst out laughing. It was all emotion, happiness and surprise at once."
