Two female junior doctors died and three others were injured when their car overturned and careered off a motorway on their way back to medical school after a weekend away.
The five medical students at Mineiros Central University, in the state of Goias, Brazil, had been driving back to college on 5th May when their car swerved off into a ditch, say police.
A grim emergency services video shows the car completely destroyed after flying over a crash barrier at high speed down into an embankment.
Camilla de Paula Lopes Cavalcante, 19, was found dead inside the crushed front compartment of the white Hyundai hatchback.
Her 21-year-old friend Anna Luyza Carvalho, who had been sitting beside her, was found alive but died of multiple injuries in hospital.

Fellow students Isadora Nogueira Wesmone, Evelyn Caroline Alves Martins, and Ana Victoria Gomes Santos survived and were rushed to hospital in nearby Goiania.
All three had been travelling on the back seat and while Isadora suffered facial injuries and fractures her friends astonishingly escaped with minor injuries.
Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle on a bend in the motorway.

Civil Police spokesperson Luciana Fernandes said: "There was no collision with another vehicle or an obstacle on the road.
"We believe that because of speed or maybe inexperience, the driver lost control going into the bend."
College friends said the girls were "like sisters" as they studied to become doctors.
