A 10-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with a dart stuck in his brain after a game with pals went horrifyingly wrong.
Amazed medics at the Children's Clinical Centre in Roshal, Moscow Oblast, Russia, rushed the boy into surgery after his parents brought him in with the dart still in his head.
A gruesome CT scan, released by health officials on 6th May, shows how the sharp tip of the dart had gone straight through the youngster's skull before embedding itself in his brain.
Astonishingly, surgeons removed the dart in a quickie six-minute operation under local anaesthetic and the lad had made a full recovery.

Neurosurgery head Aslan Tekoev explained: "The boy was lucky. The dart passed only through the cortical layer, without touching the vital tissues of the brain."
After a course of anti-inflammatory drugs and antibacterial therapy the youngster was allowed to go home three days later.
The bizarre injury prompted social media users to urge parents to keep their children safe.
One social media user said: "That image of the dart sticking out of his head is terrifying."
And another said: "Kids need to be taught proper safety even with games like darts."
