A motorist has been filmed driving along a major highway with their car's bonnet completely covering the windscreen, leaving social media users baffled as to how they were able to stay on the road.
The incident took place on the Moscow Ring Road, a major city highway encircling the Russian capital of Moscow.
Footage of the bizarre drive was first shared online on 6th May.
The video shows a Lada Priora with Tula licence plates travelling at speed while the bonnet is fully raised, leaving the driver with no forward visibility.
It is unclear how the driver was able to navigate traffic or how long they continued driving in this state.
The person who filmed the incident remarked in Russian: "A long-time trucker from Europe gets to grips with the customs and traditions of Russian roads."
The post added hashtags including "he didn't even brake", "I sincerely love my country", and "the main thing in a tank is not to s**t yourself."
The footage quickly gained traction on Russian social media and was widely shared across platforms.
One user said: "Level 80 driver. I can't even drive properly when a fly gets in the car."
Another wrote: "How did they not crash? Is there a periscope in that car or what?"
