This footage shows two cyclists crashing into a Volkswagen Polo after it makes a sudden U-turn.

The incident took place on Chkalovskiy Prospekt, in St Petersburg, in Russia, on Tuesday, 22nd April.

The footage, recorded on the Polo's dashcam, shows it making the U-turn, causing two cyclists to crash into it and go flying over the handlebars, landing hard on the tarmac.

It is currently unclear if the cyclists sustained any injuries in the incident.

It is also unclear if the authorities are investigating the crash.
