A seven-year-old has died after he was stung by a scorpion while travelling in a car.
The incident took place in Belo Horizonte, in Brazil, on Tuesday afternoon, 22nd of April.
The victim, named as Arthur Saymon, was reportedly bitten while in the family car as they returned from a trip to Mariana, in the central Brazilian region of Minas Gerais.

The boy was rushed to hospital by helicopter after being stung but did not survive.
During the flight, Arthur's oxygen saturation dropped and, minutes before landing, he went into cardiac arrest.
The authorities performed resuscitation manoeuvres and managed to transport him to the hospital alive. However, the boy died while receiving treatment.

Born in Betim, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, Arthur Saymon was part of the under-7 team at the Academia de Futebol do Galo. In a note published on social media, the training centre offered condolences to the victim's friends and family.
They said: "Go in peace, boy. Your time here at Academia do Galo Betim will always be remembered with great affection!"
